Novus Environmental Inc., who was retained by URS Canada Inc., completed a detailed local air quality assessment to predict the potential impacts resulting from motor vehicle traffic on the portion of Highway 400 to be widened for 12.5 km from 1 km north of King Road to 0.9 km north of the South Canal Bridge, in the Region of York.
Novus’ assessment was innovative on many fronts and led to the following comment from Toros Topaloglu, Ph.D., P.Eng., Air Quality Specialist for the Ministry of Transportation:
“I have reviewed Novus’ draft report. I am impressed by the detail and professional approach. It is an excellent report.”
