Microscale Meteorology

Meteorological analysis and prediction of microscale weather events like tornados, microburst, and other localized effects can be used as a predictive tool, or retrospectively to evaluate historical events. Applications include asset management, corporate risk management, strategic planning, building and engineering design assessment, and determination of agricultural impacts, to name a few.

Novus’ climate experts develop predictions of microscale weather events using models such as WRF, MM5, and GEM-LAM.
