Novus recognizes that there is no silver bullet to improving the sustainability of companies and of industrial facilities. Companies use water for a broad range of purposes including cooling, production and processes and for waste removal. While companies function locally, supply chains are often global in nature.
It is no longer enough to understand current water availability on a local level. We use an interdisciplinary systems approach to complete full life cycle analysis, considering water, wastewater and energy costs throughout the supply chain. Systems analysis can help identify opportunities to make large improvements in efficiency, reducing waste and improving profits.
If one considers the potential for future changes in both precipitation and temperature on a global scale it becomes possible to adapt current operations and future design for long term sustainability.
